If you need A3 capability, but print more than 100 pages a day, or sometimes have slightly bigger jobs — yet still do not need heavy-duty high-speed machines — the Ricoh MP 2504 is your best balance choice.

It is also entry-level, compact and affordable, but slightly faster and more robust than MP 2004. Speed is 25 pages per minute, and internal parts are built to handle a bit more workload. Still much smaller and cheaper than 45ppm+ models, but gives you enough performance for regular light-to-moderate use.
